Privacy Policy

Last Updated: April 2026

At ElectriCalc: Engineering Tool, we take your privacy seriously. Outlined below is our policy regarding the collection and handling of your data:

1. Data Collection

ElectriCalc: Engineering Tool is designed as a standalone, offline engineering tool. We do not collect, transmit, store, or sell any personal data, calculation inputs, or usage metrics to our own servers.

2. Apple Services (StoreKit)

The application relies solely on Apple's native StoreKit technology to process subscriptions. When a purchase is made, Apple handles the transaction securely. We only verify the cryptographic receipt stored locally on your device to unlock features.

3. Local Storage

The app stores basic preferences (such as your chosen regional standard) and a launch counter securely in your device's local sandbox (UserDefaults). This data never leaves your device.

Terms of Use (EULA)

By downloading or using ElectriCalc: Engineering Tool, you agree to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA).

Disclaimer of Liability

ElectriCalc: Engineering Tool is a reference and theoretical calculation tool designed for educational and professional estimation purposes. While we strive for extreme accuracy aligned with NEC, IEC, and JIS standards, this application does not replace professional electrical engineering judgment. The developer assumes no liability for direct, indirect, or consequential damages resulting from real-world misapplication of calculated results.

Subscription Terms

ElectriCalc: Engineering Tool offers a $14.99 yearly auto-renewable subscription after a 10-launch free trial limit. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at the confirmation of purchase. Subscription automatically renews unless tracking is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
